Lead and supervise a group of participants through low adventure and/or high ropes activities focused on goal setting, trust, team building/team bonding, communication, and personal growth in a collaborative environment. This is your chance to begin your career in the outdoor adventure industry!
Lead participants on thrilling adventures across ziplines, sky-bridges, and tree platforms while achieving the highest level of professionalism, positive reinforcement, and risk management. This is the first step of your career in the outdoor adventure industry!
Collaborate with a fellow Day Camp Coordinator to supervise counselors and administer day to day operations of day camps at Common Ground. Leadership and/or previous camp experience is preferred, but not required.
Schedule and interview potential participants for the program, facilitate professional development lessons, expose participants to various job opportunities, assist in their camp training, supervise their interaction with the younger campers, and mentor them throughout their participation in the program.
Serve as the primary caregiver for each camper in a group of similar ages while guiding them through daily activities and fostering a sense of cooperation, respect, and community.
Create, plan, and conduct camp programming based on weekly themes in of the following specific areas: Adventure Camp, Arts & Crafts, Environmental Education, Music & Movement, or Team Building.
Supervise campers while aiding in their safe arrival and departure to and from camp by being a Bus Counselor, Before Camp Counselor or After Camp Counselor.
