Teen Leadership Camp

Ready to take the next step as a leader while having a blast in nature? Teen Leadership Camp is built for young teens (ages 14-15) who want to explore who they are, grow their confidence, and practice leadership—all while enjoying the adventure, outdoor fun, and hands-on learning that make Common Ground summer unforgettable.

This program combines Earth Camp’s weekly nature themes with interactive leadership lessons, teamwork challenges, and service projects. Teens spend the week building personal strengths, making connections, and contributing to their community in meaningful ways.

What Teens Will Do

Each week includes:

Leadership Workshops: Develop skills in communication, self-awareness, resilience, social influence, and emotional intelligence
Service-Based Projects: Team-led projects that support our grounds, habitats, and camp spaces, teaching responsibility and impact
Team-Building Activities: Fun collaborative challenges, problem-solving, and group decision-making
Outdoor Adventures: Nature exploration and environmental learning tied to weekly Earth Camp themes
Creative Expression & Reflection: Journaling, hands-on projects, and leadership challenges
Future-Ready Skills: Motivation, adaptability, and practical tools teens can use anywhere

June 22–26: Trees, Trees, and More Trees!
June 29–July 3: WILD OHIO
July 6–10: S.T.E.A.M.
July 13–17: Radical River
July 20–24: Bug’s Life
July 27–31: Nature Survival Quest
August 3–7: Best of the Best!
