Looking for a meaningful, adventure-filled Spring Break experience? Common Ground’s Spring Break Camp Days invite young explorers ages 10-14 to spend their week immersed in nature, discovering Ohio’s wild places, and enjoying unforgettable camp adventures. Each day runs from 8 AM–5:30 PM and features a unique blend of outdoor exploration, hands-on learning, and classic camp fun—perfect for curious, active kids who love being outside.
New Flexible Spring Break Camp!
We know schedules vary, so Spring Break Camp is now offered à la carte. Campers may attend one day, multiple days, or all five and families only pay for the days they choose. Each day stands on its own with a unique theme and activities.
What to Expect All Week
- Guided time in the woods, wetlands, and along the Vermilion River
- Nature-based arts & crafts
- Group games and team-building activities—indoors and outdoors
- Environmental learning led by trained instructors
- Campfire time, reflection, and hot cocoa
- A chance to grow confidence, build friendships, and make lasting memories

Here’s a sneak peek of what each day will involve.
Monday & Tuesday: Nature Exploration Days
Step into the world of Ohio’s ecosystems! These days feature guided hikes, hands-on lessons about local flora, fauna, and geology, enriched arts & crafts, and habitat investigations from forest to riverbank. Led by Ohio Project WILD–trained instructors, campers deepen their connection to nature while building essential life skills.
Wednesday & Thursday: Adventure Challenge Days
Perfect for thrill-seekers and team players, these sessions include low-ropes challenges, confidence-building games, and action-packed time on our climbing wall, vertical playpen, and giant swing. Campers blend outdoor adventure with nature learning, creativity, and campfire traditions—complete with gooey s’mores.
Friday: Treetop Adventure Day
Cap off Spring Break with a one-of-a-kind treetop experience! Campers will soar through the canopy on our Zipline Course, enjoy indoor and outdoor group activities, create nature-inspired arts & crafts, and close out the day with hot cocoa and a cozy campfire. With only 8 spots available, this exclusive session fills fast!

Price: $69.49 per camper per day.
Discounts given when registering for more than one day: Two days = 5% off, Three days = 10% 4+ days = 15% off.
Hours: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm.
Please see our camp packing list. With the exception of a bathing suit, all items should be packed for our Spring Break Adventure Camp.
Bus transportation is not available for the Spring Break.
