Spring Break Camps Session A: Wild Ohio Explorer
Join us for a two-day journey into nature at Common Ground’s Wild Ohio Explorer Camp, running from 9 AM to 3 PM each day! This immersive Spring Break experience is perfect for curious young minds ready to explore the great outdoors.
Each day is packed with interactive activities, guided hikes, and hands-on lessons about local flora, fauna, and geology. Campers will investigate diverse habitats, from the vibrant woodlands to the Vermilion River and wetlands, uncovering the secrets of indigenous plants, animals, and the land itself. A special highlight includes an up-close exploration of local trees and a thrilling, facilitated tree-climbing experience in one of our majestic sycamores!
Led by Ohio Project WILD-trained instructors, the camp fosters ecological awareness while encouraging campers to develop key life skills and deepen their connection to nature. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn, climb, and create unforgettable memories this Spring Break.
Dates for Session A: Wild Ohio Explorer
3/17/25 – 3/18/25 (Coincides with Western Reserve and North Ridgeville spring break)
3/24/25 – 3/25/25(Coincides with Oberlin, Vermilion, Elyria, and Norwalk spring break)
Time: Camp takes place between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm
Price: Wild Ohio Explorer $125 per camp session.

Spring Break Camp Session B: Wild Ohio Adventurer
Join us for an unforgettable two-day camp filled with thrilling adventures, team-building fun, and soft skill development! Campers will tackle exciting low-ropes challenges, build confidence, and strengthen bonds before soaring to new heights on our high-ropes course, climbing rock wall, vertical playpen, and giant swing. The grand finale? An exhilarating zipline canopy tour that will leave everyone buzzing with excitement!
Along the way, they’ll explore the wonders of local flora and fauna, learning about nature while enjoying the great outdoors. And no adventure is complete without hot cocoa and gooey s’mores to end the day! Designed for young adventurers who love to challenge themselves and make lasting memories, this camp promises an experience like no other. Don’t miss out—spaces are limited, so register today!
Important: Kids must be a minimum height of 4’10” and weigh at least 70 lbs to zipline)
