Explore, Learn & Grow Through Nature with Wild Wonders Day Camp at Common Ground
Looking for something fun and meaningful for your child to do on NEOEA Day when many schools in Lorain County are closed? Give them the gift of outdoor adventure at Common Ground!
Join us for a full day of hands-on environmental education and outdoor fun designed for campers ages 5–11. Activities are carefully tiered to engage both younger (5–7) and older (8–11) children, with mixed-age opportunities that encourage teamwork and leadership.
Campers will enjoy a variety of experiences, including a guided nature hike, creative arts & crafts, and team-building challenges that spark problem-solving and cooperation. To deepen the adventure, we’ve added elements of the ODNR Ohio Wild curriculum—plus surprise live animal encounters sure to inspire curiosity and wonder.
The program runs from 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM and is $55 per camper. Cost includes two healthy snacks; campers should bring a packed lunch. With just 25 spots available, your child will receive personalized attention in a safe, welcoming environment.
Spaces fill fast—reserve your camper’s spot today for a memorable NEOEA Day filled with discovery, growth, and nature-based fun!
