Common Ground's Mural Arts Project is a community outreach program developed in partnership with the Workforce Development Agency to provide a creative and exciting employment activity for Workforce Investment Act eligible youth, ages 14-21, and enhance the environments of area schools and/or social service agencies.
The Mural Arts Project works with area artists and WIA eligible youth to create beautiful and meaningful indoor murals at area schools and/or social service agencies. Youth participants recieve workplace training and educational experiences on topics such as project planning, budgeting, scheduling, teamwork, communication, collaboration, critical thinking and problem-solving -- all while creating meaningful artwork that enhances the environments of the selected sites.
Youth Eligibility:
- Youth ages 14-21
- Must meet requirements as defined by WIA
- Must meet income standards

Registering to Participate:
Youth ages 14-21 who are already connected to the Workforce Development Agency and are interested in participating in the Mural Arts Project, contact Common Ground at 440-965-551 for registration information.
Artists Needed: Common Ground is interested in expanding our cadre of artists working in the Mural Arts Project. Artists with experience in mural-painting, large scale painting, and working with youth are encouraged to apply. Send a resume with at least 6 samples of your work to:
