Common Ground - The Cindy Nord Center for Renewal would not have attained our current level of extraordinary programming, services and facilities were it not for the generosity and support of our benefactor and angel, Cindy Nord.

Dr. Cindy Nord, Child psychologist, author, and community philanthropist, lived for many years in Oberlin and currently resides in Blythewood, South Carolina. She is the founder of The Nurturing Center, a unique resource for healing children and families. Cindy has had a longtime relationship with Common Ground and counts the time her children spent here growing up as "important healing time."

An impassioned child advocate, Dr. Nord serves on the Board of The Nord Family Foundation supporting area nonprofits and other humanitarian community projects.
