Rose Bator, HM, Founder and President Emeritus of Common Ground: The Cindy Nord Center for Renewal, is an educator, spiritual counselor, writer, and consultant.  The lives of thousands of children and adults have been enriched from the numerous programs of leadership, community, environment, and spirituality that Common Ground has offered the public since its inception in 1995.

In addition to her roles as Board member and President Emeritus of Common Ground, Rose has been an invited presenter at national and international forums on peace and justice, particularly as they relate to women and children. Prior to founding Common Ground, Rose held teaching and pastoral counseling positions at St. John (in Ashtabula) and Magnificat High School (in Rocky River), and held the position of Campus Minister and Adjunct Professor at Lorain County Community College from 1984 until 1991. Rose, who received her M.A. in Pastoral Ministry and Theology from Boston College, has been a member of the Humility of Mary Order since 1975.
