Day of Drumming Retreat Weekend - July 17 & 18, 2009 If you've never been to the Day of Drumming Retreat and Concert at Common Ground, this is the year to make plans early to attend. A peaceful yet invigorating Friday evening workshop provides an opportunity for an intimate experience with world-renowned drumming facilitator and teacher Jim Donovan (founding member of the multi-platinum recording artists Rusted Root). Saturday offers a full day of drumming and holistic health workshops and experiences that will leave you begging for more. Amid the peaceful surroundings at Common Ground, you'll have an opportunity to drum, do tai chi, check out body/energy work, and so much more! Saturday evening, we cap it all off in style with the incomparable Drum the Ecstatic International group. We'll have the intimate Studio Theatre at the Stocker Arts Center rockin' and you are guaranteed to be on your feet, dancing in the aisles within the first five minutes! Don't delay - register today! Early bird special pricing is available through July 4th; after that, the prices will go up! Earth Camp 2009 In Full Swing!

 Earth Camp Has Begun!
Once again, our 21-acre campus is alive with the sounds of children, as the 14th year of Earth Camp began on June 22nd. Circumstances beyond our control forced us to offer only a shortened Earth Camp program this year, but that doesn't seem to have affected the camper's enthusiasm any. They've spent the week exploring the facilities and program offerings, learning about themselves and the world around them, and growing in knowledge and maturity. And, we're all looking forward to our first trip to Splash Zone in Oberlin at the end of the week! Boy, it's been hot! It is possible that additional funding will be made available, allowing us to offer additional scholarships and weeks of camp.
